Can you reduce belly fat without dieting?

Lose belly fat now!
Do you have the case of the Jelly Belly? Do you suffer from love handles? Or maybe you compare yourself to the Michelin Man? All these cruel names you might call yourself, and all this because you are packing belly fat around the trunk or abdomen, and wobbles. Well to a certain extend i understand, but the fact stays the same, and that is that belly fat is not attractive! Have you ever seen any man or woman dressed in a shirt that was too short and the extra weight is peeking out? I am sure you'd agree it is not a pretty sight. The problem today is that there are so many pills and programs out there, that it is just impossible not to get all confused about it. Well, that's the sad fact that there really is no magic bullet when it comes to reducing fat and weight loss; and you just don't understand the ways of your body.

Question is, can you can learn how to effectively reduce belly fat, and weight without following a diet?

I believe in the three-step approach. It is a convenient three stage planning, which can be used to eliminate and reduce abdominal fat without dieting.

  •  Strength Training: Strength training is scientifically proven to offer several advantages that help to reduce the concentration of fat. What this means is that there is nothing better than having more muscle to burn calories. The simple fact is muscle burns calories and it burns them pretty fast. The more muscle you put on the less belly fat weight you will have, and the more calories you burn, the leaner you are. No I am not saying you have to become an Arnold Schwarzenegger, but adding on a few pounds of lean muscle.
  • Cardio Training: If you want to reduce your weight and fat levels, there is nothing that beats just simple walking. Whether you want it on a treadmill or choose just walk around the corner of your home, this is a very simple exercise. So how can you easily begin to reduce fat levels? By walking for 30 minutes a day, and you don't have to go fast. If you do not like to walk, try biking, jogging, or rollerblading so that you burn calories. Most important, pick an activity that you enjoy. Follow the Nike logo and as it says: JUST DO IT, but make sure you do it effectively.
  • Healthy Menu Choices: NO, NO, NO, I am not implying a diet. In my eyes diets do not work, becasue changing a lifestyle is wrong. What i simply imply is that you no longer will make bad food choices. You can eat more things, but good things, and that will you cause you to easily lose weight. That means no more picking out junk; implement the healthy food such as, lean proteins, whole grains, some fruit and plenty of vegetables. You should try to select foods that are in their natural state or as close as possible to make. This is when your system will diigest them with ease and not stored them somewhere in your body.

The principle on how to effectively reduce belly and body fat is not a complicated job. These three components, when followed, are the key to reducing belly. I am sure that if you decide to apply these three components, resistance training, cardio training, and healthy food choices on a consistent basis, you will see the results.

Fat, especially abdominal fat,  does not just happen overnight and leaves in a day. So instead of complaining, dwelling on it, and mostly wasting energy on it, decide to apply yourself to make it disapear. ELIMINATE IT!  If you're willing to try, you will succeed.

So what will you do? A longer healthier life, no belly fat, and a more attractive appearance? After all, you deserve it, so JUST DO IT!

My Advice for Women To Lose Belly Fat

Like i mentioned in my first article on body fat, if the gain in belly fat starts due to hormonal changes, heredity, or aging over the years by many women, it will increase as they get older - even more after menopause.
Lose belly fat now!
Yes, its unfortunate that women tend to experience a larger fat percentage increase than males do. People need to understand that when you get older, your metabolism starts to slow down; the obvious sign is that the amount of fat in your body gradually increases.

After menopause (the time in a woman's life when she stops having menstrual periods, and the average age for the onset of menopause is 51 years), your body fat distribution will tend to shift. You will notice areas that have less fat in the legs, arms and hips, and much more in your abdomen (stomach).

So, what is a FACT?
  • Body Mass Index does not an accurate measure the body fat percentage or let's be more precise, the fat distribution in women after menopause. What happens is that some women may actually experience an increasing waist, however there is still no increase to the weight shown on the balance.Strange ha? What happens in this case is that although you may not be gaining any extra fat, your actual abdominal fat is increasing as your hip area and limb fat decreases.
WOW! Now, health problems can begin to develop as abdominal fat is harmful for men and women. So this is when the visceral fat is taking its place comfortably in the abdominal cavity between the inner organs (such as the subcutaneous fatty tissue under the skin) and intramuscular fat that is found in skeletal muscle. THE TIRE EFFECT!

Sometimes heredity can be the cause of your abdominal fat, yes, you can blame the parents, what a life! I can lose and to ward off that belly fat newly formed, but like everything in life, that requires some work, in this case we need to implement exercise and diet control.

Have you maybe wondered if there are any types of foods that can help you lose belly fat? I am sure you have, but unfortunately no; there is no magic food to make you lose the abdomen fat. What i am suggesting to you is to practice eating the right amount of calories for weight loss (calculator showing calories burned for various activities) and that will eventually make you lose weight from all areas of your body including that belly area.

The KEY word in this case is DISCIPLINE. You need to discipline yourself to eat a healthy diet, mix some regular exercise or training and you will burn even more calories and tone muscles simultaneously.

Before beginning the exercises to lose belly fat you should properly measure your stomach or waist. The correct way to do this - place a tape measure around the trunk to the height of your heel hold, not in your stomach, and do not pull the tape measure so hard in the skin.

Properly targeted tummy exercises will most certainly help you to firm your abdominal muscles and flatten your belly. The key is to develop a routine to moderately intense exercise each day to lose weight and tone muscles. As you progress with your exercise routine, you will notice one of the first beneficial signs is that your belly fat will begin to shrink, often before you see fat loss in other body areas.

As always, you should contact your doctor before beginning any exercise program, talk.

Here's another advice: I recommend that you target your lower abdominal muscles and lower. Workouts for lower abdominal muscles' my suggestions to you is performing exercises known as pelvic lifts and pelvic tilts.

  • Pelvis tilts are great exercises for the back, abdomen, sacroiliac joint and adjacent structures. To perform pelvic tilts you should lay on your back on the floor with your knees bent upwards. While you are flattening the back on the ground and pulling the abdominal muscles, bend your pelvis a little bit; hold this position for 8 - 10 seconds and repeat at least 5 times. Try to work up to 10 to 20 repetitions.
  • To perform the pelvic lifts, you need to lay on your back on the floor, with your knees bent toward your chest region and your arms should be relaxed by your sides. Tense or drag the lower abdomen and slowly lift your butt off the ground. Again, hold this position for 8 to 10 seconds and repeat at least five times. As you progress, you should try to work up to 10 to 20 repetitions of the exercise.

Your deeper abdominal muscles can be also toned by the pelvic lifts, which are also great for losing buttock fat and for bad or sore backs. As you become more proficient at this routine you can even perform it in the upright position where ever you are, even waiting for a bus.

Just remember that developing a daily routine and establishing good eating habits play very important parts in your mission. For a personalized diet and exercise plan,  click here.

What is Belly Fat?

Right here, you will get your personal report that will show you how to achieve the results you are looking for.

The belly fat is the fat around the belly. It is as simple as that.  Lose belly fat now!

As we age our metabolism slows down which causes the amount of fat in our bodies to increase. Unfortunately women tend to have a higher proportion of fat than men. Women particularly tend to get it after menopause when fat distribution tends to shift more to the abdomen. This is due to hormonal changes that can break causing this type of body fat deposits to accumulate.

For women it can do a lot more harm than just expanding your waistline; too much of belly fat accumulation can increase the risks of many horrible diseases such as:
  • Heart and Vascular Diseases
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Breast Cancer and
  • Metabolic Syndrome

For men, on the other hand, belly fat is usually known as the 'beer gut' or 'pot belly'. The biggest weight gain in men usually occurs around the belly. Beer sure is a factor in belly fat in men. According to statistics, there has been a link that has been made between drinking too much beer and the gain of belly fat found; however, it isn't exactly clear why drinking too much beer causes increased belly fat particularly in men. (It is known though that beer is high in calories). As with women, the increased belly weight in men can also lead to diseases; here are few of them:
  • Diabetes
  • Heart and Vascular Diseases
  • Sleep Apnia
  • Metabolic Syndrome and
  • High blood Pressure

Certain types of cancer in men include the famous prostate cancer.

Let us be realistic though; we do need a certain amount of fat in our diet. What we need to understand is that there are Good Fats and Bad Fats.
  • The Good Fats include the Omega-3 fish oil, sunflower oil, nuts, avocados and olive oil . These are also known as polyunsaturated / monounsaturated fatty acids.
  • The Bad Fats are found in Cheese, Eggs, Meat, Margarine,Coconut Oil, French Fries. These are also  known under the name of Saturated/Trans Fats.

We must learn to balance our diet and monitor our consumption of fat and calories. We need to learn to gain more muscle and lose fat.

There is more than one type of fat in our bellies. There are 2 types of  Belly Fat:
  • Visceral - this fat is stored around the liver and the other organs deeper in our bodies. This is also the fat that you can not see and the problem here is that this far in particular is the one we have to fear.
  • Subcutaneous - this is the other type of fat that is located between the skin and the abdominal wall. Even though this is the famous fat that everyone can see, it is less likely to be a health risk.

There are many causes that create belly fat;  it can be hereditary, hormonal, or you may just have a tendency to gain weight in that area. This is when the high caloric intake and lack of exercise also contribute to gain belly fat.

How do we get rid of  it?  Forget about doing hundreds of situps and/or crunches. These are practically useless for most people when it comes to losing weight in the belly. The exercise is not enough by itself to reduce the amount of calories we need to burn in order to lose fat. We must reduce our calorie intake and increase our exercises to lose belly fat
